Kyle S. Roney is the president and founder of Troika Capital Advisors. Founded in 2010, Kyle started Troika Capital Advisors to provide clients with conflict free investment advice in a fiduciary manor. He prides himself on presenting this advice in an easily understandable and personal way, always striving to meet the individual needs of his clients.
Kyle’s interest in personal finance and investing started at an early age. While in middle school he routinely helped balance the family checkbook. At the age of 15 he opened his first IRA. These experiences taught him the importance of early financial planning and ignited his passion for finance. This passion still drives his business today, and he counts himself lucky to enjoy what he does while helping his clients achieve their financial goals.
Prior to founding Troika Capital Advisors, Kyle received a B.A. in Consumer Sciences with an emphasis on Family Financial Planning from the University of Georgia. Following graduation, Kyle began his career at a wealth management firm in Athens, Georgia, working to become the Director of Financial Planning. While there, he managed portfolios for high net worth individuals, fulfilling all aspects of financial planning advice to clients and specializing in portfolio management. He also worked with small businesses to help implement and further their qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. Additionally, Kyle gained valuable experience by taking part in several private equity deals designed to raise capital and unite the desires of business owners and investors.
Outside of the office, Kyle is a huge Atlanta sports fan and can often be found cheering on the Falcons and Braves, as well as returning to Athens to root for his Bulldogs in Sanford Stadium. Kyle resides in Atlanta with his wife Shelley.
